The Australian Institute of Animal Management (AIAM) annual animal management workshop is themed Embracing Diversity.

Workshop sessions will include cultural diversity of pet ownership in the community, stories from Officers on the ground, pounds and shelter facility design and welfare, rescue groups and foster carers, and working with the community to increase understanding and reduce intake.

A highlight for delegates will be international keynote speaker Todd Stosuy, Field Services Manager atSanta Cruz Animal Shelter in California, USA and former President of the National Animal Care and Control Association of America presenting initiatives and strategies from a council perspective to utilise and improve relationships of resources already available in the community.

The workshop is a great opportunity to network with other Animal Management Officers from across Australia, as well as others working with the animal management sector.
Take advantage of an “early bird” special and book your tickets before 28 August.
